Official Announcement Regarding the 2025 and 2026 Publications
Dear Authors, Reviewers, Readers, and Academic Community,
The Editorial Team of JPI: Jurnal Pustaka Indonesia would like to convey an important announcement regarding the publication process for the 2025 edition. We sincerely inform all authors and readers that several publication activities in the 2025 issue experienced technical constraints due to scheduled and corrective maintenance on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform used by the journal. During this maintenance process, several article records and supporting publication files became temporarily inaccessible and some metadata were not properly displayed in the system.
We understand that this situation may have caused inconvenience, particularly for authors whose manuscripts had already passed the editorial and publication stages. For this reason, the Editorial Team is currently conducting a careful and systematic reprocessing of the affected articles. This process includes verifying manuscript files, checking article metadata, confirming publication details, and ensuring that each article is restored or republished accurately in accordance with journal standards. We are committed to handling this matter responsibly, transparently, and professionally so that the integrity of the publication record can be properly maintained.
We also emphasize that the technical issue was related to system maintenance and did not affect the academic substance, editorial decision, or scholarly merit of the manuscripts that had been processed. Every article will continue to be treated according to the journal’s editorial policies, publication ethics, and quality assurance procedures. Authors whose articles are affected may be contacted by the editorial office if additional confirmation or document resubmission is required. This step is part of our commitment to ensuring that all publication records remain accurate, traceable, and consistent with the standards of scholarly communication.
Furthermore, we are pleased to inform the academic community that the OJS platform has now returned to normal operation for the 2026 publication period. The journal management system has been stabilized, and the Editorial Team has strengthened its internal workflow to prevent similar technical disruptions in future publication cycles. These improvements include better file management, more systematic metadata verification, regular backup procedures, and closer coordination between the editorial and technical teams.
For the 2026 edition, JPI: Jurnal Pustaka Indonesia is preparing to publish approximately 15 to 20 articles through a professional editorial process. Each manuscript will undergo the required stages of submission screening, editorial review, peer review, revision, copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and final publication. The journal remains committed to maintaining academic quality, publication transparency, and professional service for authors, reviewers, and readers. We believe that these strengthened procedures will support a more reliable, accountable, and sustainable publication process in the coming years.
We sincerely appreciate the patience, understanding, and continued trust of all parties during the 2025 system maintenance period. The Editorial Team will continue working to restore affected publication data and to ensure that forthcoming issues are published in a timely, orderly, and accountable manner.
Thank you for your attention and support.
Editorial Team
