Peran Karang Taruna Sebagai Ujung Tombak dalam Kepedulian Sosial di Desa Jum'at Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah
Abstract
Karang Taruna of Desa Jum'at, Kec. Talang Empat, Kab. Bengkulu Tengah, is a youth organization that plays a significant role as a pioneer in social activities within the village. By focusing on youth empowerment and improving community welfare, Karang Taruna of Desa Jum’at initiates various programs, including skills training, community service activities, and social awareness campaigns. Through these initiatives, Karang Taruna contributes to addressing social issues such as unemployment, juvenile delinquency, and limited access to education. The success of this organization is supported by various stakeholders, including the village government, community leaders, and the private sector, all of whom help strengthen the implementation of social programs. The active participation of youth in Karang Taruna activities also enhances social solidarity and drives positive change in The community. This research aims to investigate role of Karang Taruna of Desa Jum’at in raising social awareness and improving community welfare, and to assess the effects of the various programs that have been implemented
