Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Islam Berbasis Masjid (Studi Kasus Masjid Al-Muttaqin di Desa Harapan Makmur, Kecamatan Pondok Kubang, Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah)

Abstract

One of the main problems faced is limited resources, both in terms of funds and competent management staff. Many empowerment programs have been designed, but cannot run optimally because of these limitations. Through various mosque-based empowerment programs, it is hoped that the people of Harapan Makmur Village can improve their quality of life, both from an economic, educational and social perspective. In this research, the author uses a qualitative research approach with a qualitative descriptive research type. Where the author will get information that is in accordance with the facts. The Al-Muttaqin Mosque faces various challenges, including limited facilities and infrastructure, low community participation in empowerment programs, as well as environmental and weather problems that affect the physical condition of the mosque. In addition, there is a significant gap between available funds and the funding requirements to run empowerment programs, which hinders efforts to increase the role of mosques in communities. To overcome these challenges, infrastructure improvements, increased community participation and more effective fundraising are needed.
