Ragam Bahasa Masyarakat Rejang Kepahiang Dalam Tinjauan Sosiolingustik
Abstract
This study was conducted to describe the existence of language varieties in Penanjung Panjang Atas Village and Peraduan Binjai Village, Tebat Karai District, Kepahiang Regency. The information obtained when the researcher recorded and interviewed was how the language varieties spoken by the people of Penanjung Panjang Atas Village and Peraduan Binjai Village. The method used in this research is a descriptive method using qualitative analysis data. The instruments in this study were documentation and observation studies to analyze the sociolinguistic field. The data analysis technique was recording and interviewing the people of Penanjung Panjang Atas Village and Peraduan Binjai Village. After the data related to language varieties, the researcher will be able to understand the meaning of words of different language varieties and then record and collect data related to the research. The results of this study show that the language varieties in Penanjung Panjang Atas Village and Peraduan Binjai Village have different language varieties.
